Glare-free solar system at Munich Airport
Share

Munich Airport is pursuing the ambitious goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2035. An important component of this is the new photovoltaic system with a capacity of over 3,700 kWp. However, since solar modules must not pose a hazard through glare reflections to air and road traffic, our anti-glare film was used.
In total, nearly 600 solar modules were equipped with our film to reliably prevent critical glare on the nearby traffic areas. The project was successfully carried out in cooperation with Timeless Planet, while the professional application of the film was performed by Fuchs Werbetechnik. We are pleased to have made a technical contribution to the safety and sustainability of this major project.
