Glare avoided - flight safety ensured!

We are pleased to report on a special project: a photovoltaic system with our Anti-glare film was successfully installed at Bonn/Hangelar Airport.
Especially in the vicinity of airports, the issue of glare plays a safety-critical role. Strong light reflections from solar modules can significantly disturb pilots during approach or taxiing on the runway. Photovoltaic systems on roofs or in the immediate vicinity of airfields therefore always present a particular challenge.
Our Anti-glare film makes exactly such projects possible: it reduces disturbing reflections to a minimum while hardly affecting the performance of the solar modules. This also enables the use of such locations for the installation of solar systems.
Such projects demonstrate how traffic safety and the energy transition can be reconciled. With our technology, we not only contribute to CO₂ reduction but also open up new possibilities for the expansion of photovoltaics in sensitive environments.
